What to expect

  • Step 1

Your attorney will call or email me to schedule a 15-minute phone consultation. Intake paperwork and consent forms will be signed prior to our first meeting.

  • Step 2

We will schedule two virtual interviews (about two hours each) on a secure, private HIPAA-compliant platform. I will ask for details about your life experiences and current symptoms as well as complete several assessments with you.

I will review any additional documentation applicable to your case, such as medical records, police reports, and educational records.

  • Step 3

Two to three weeks after the final interview, I will send a final, signed copy of the evaluation to your attorney.

 FAQs for Immigration Evaluations

These evaluations can strengthen cases such as asylum, extreme hardship waivers, VAWA petitions, U-visas, and T-visas.

  • Immigration evaluations provide detailed documentation of how specific events or circumstances (trauma, persecution, or family separation, etc.) have impacted your mental health. They help immigration attorneys and judges understand your unique story and the challenges you face, which can improve the overall strength of your case.

  • No. My role is to provide an impartial and professional evaluation of your mental health and personal history, based on the information you share with me and the tools used during this process.  Please understand that this evaluation is intended to assist your immigration case but does not guarantee a specific outcome or approval, as the final decision rests with the immigration authorities.

  • Standard Evaluation $1000 (report will be completed within 2-3 weeks)
Expedited Evaluation $1500 (report will be completed within 1 week)

  • Your information is confidential. Please be assured that you control the pace of the interviews and are under no obligation to answer questions that you are not comfortable with.
