I have a passion for working with people who want help learning how to find balance in their lives, whatever that means for the individual. I grew up in a Caribbean-American household where my grandparents (whom this practice is named after) encouraged family & friends to visit, relax, and be themselves. I want the people I work with to feel that welcome.

I earned a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Temple University in 2009 and went on to receive a Master of Social Work from Hunter College in 2017. I have worked in the social work field since 2008. My experiences working in transitional housing, homeless shelters, and doing outreach work have shown me the plight of people with limited resources and histories of trauma.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing, life transitions, anger management, adult children of emotionally immature parents, and stress. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based. I believe that every person is unique and I will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets your specific needs and goals.
